Return to Flight Deck Homepage

HNR's Flight Deck is proud to present an exciting new feature: the BSG TECH BLOG. In a nutshell, this section will endeavor to explain some of the unique technologies and science behind this new version of Battlestar Galactica.

Each month, the series' science advisor, Dr. Kevin Grazier, as well as the show's production illustrator, Eric Chu, will explain an aspect of Battlestar Galactica's science and technology that many of you may have wondered about, and on occasion, ones you haven't. Each blog will be approved and sanctioned by Ron Moore's office.

What makes this blog exciting are two unique elements: First, it will be illustrated...as Dr. Grazier tackles a subject, Eric Chu will provide an accompanying sketch or drawing to illustrate Dr. Grazier's discussion. Second, HNR will take questions from you, our readers, the best of which will form the basis for future blogs from these two talented gentlemen, enabling you with an opportunity to directly participate in a greater understanding of the series' science and technology.

We invite you to visit the BSG TECH BLOG forum on HNR's message boards here. Once registered, you're free to ask questions. Every month we'll select the best ones for consideration, and post them under Latest News on the Flight Deck homepage.

(We've also begun adding the entries at the bottom of this page, in case you miss any under the Latest News section.)

We hope you enjoy this new interactive feature on Flight Deck.
