Ricky, Julian & Bubbles hit the big screen December 6th 2005 01:10pm | Posted by: Editor-in-Chief Canada’s favourite stoners make the jump to the big screen in Trailer Park Boys: The Big Dirty set for release sometime in 2006 (most likely in the Summer). Trailer Park Boys Director/Writer/Producer Mike Clattenburg joined forces with fellow Canadian and Hollywood heavy hitter Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters) who is executive producing the film, and together brought in distributor Dreamworks. The film stars series regulars Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay, Mike Smith, John Dunsworth, Michael Jackson and Cory Bowles The film uses a separate storyline not related to the television show, but still employs the same lovable characters. The pot smoking, rum drinking Ricky (Wells), along with Julian (Tremblay), are released from prison where they meet Bubbles (Smith) for the first time and eventually come to live in the Sunnyvale Trailer Park.
