The 75-year old Scottish actor, currently recovering from a kidney operation, has reportedly been scripted into the project, however it is not expected he will perform any dashing heroics for the film. Connery will reportedly appear in the film during an action sequence, when new James Bond, actor Daniel "Layer Cake" Craig, gets into a fight, with Connery, never one to hesitate, diving under a table for protection.
