The sequel to the 2003 film Wrong Turn is set to shoot in Vancouver later this month. The original film starred Eliza Dushku and shot in the Toronto area. The cult hit made $15 million at the box office on a budget of $10 million and had a strong very run at DVD.

The film is set to shoot May 29 thru June 30 at The Bridge Studios in Burnaby under the direction of Joe Lynch. Turi Meyer and Al Septien wrote the screenplay and we have a review of it here. The screenplay is dated a few weeks ago and was passed to us by a source here in Vancouver. The story centers on Ma and Pa, the inbred brother and sister who spawned the deformed villains seen in the original movie.

No word of casting yet but from what we hear details should be announced very soon.
