The first 'Bollywood' masked crime-fighter Krrish is currently featured in a new Hindi movie, produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan.

The 450 million rupee ($10 million) 'flying crusader', superhero sequel to the 2003 film Koi Mil Gaya, opens theatrically in India, June 24.

The character 'Krrish', played by the director's son Hrithik Roshan, was given his powers by an alien visitor, becoming a Singapore-based vigilante (where much of the film was shot).

"As there is 'Batman', 'Spider-Man' and 'Superman'" said the director, "I have created a superhero character."
