Superman Sequel Deal Officially Confirmed Singer back to direct and produce October 30th 2006 07:35pm | Posted by: Robert Falconer HNR Senior Editor Variety is reporting that the deal which will see Bryan Singer direct and produce a sequel to Superman Returns has been officially struck. Legendary Pictures is expected to co-finance. The sequel is said to be at the very beginning of the development process, with a tentative release intended for summer 2009, although the studio stressed that as of yet there is no script or budget.   There is no word yet on shooting locations, though speculation in the past has included Vancouver.
