Life isn’t easy for anyone in the Battlestar Galactica universe, especially the humans. Yet, the Cylon Caprica Six will among those who struggle the most in upcoming episodes, according to Sci Fi Wire.

"I think [fans will] be a little bit surprised with an episode coming up," said Tricia Helfer, the Alberta-born actress who plays the character. "We find Caprica Six, she's getting a little bit confused, ... but then we see a scene where her strength comes back, ... and I think we may have a few people cheering."

Caprica Six is only one of the variations on the human-looking Cylon Number Six that feature prominently in the Sci-Fi Channel original series. Helfer is quoted as saying that all versions of Number Six will face challenges in the stories to come, but it sounds like those facing Caprica Six will be the most difficult. The character stands at a crossroads, Helfer said.

"She kind of feels that, maybe, like Athena [Grace Park], ... she can be accepted by the humans," said Helfer. "And I think she feels a little bit of turmoil and not sure which side she should be on."

New episodes of Battlestar Galactica begin on the Sci Fi Channel on Sunday, January 21, at 10 pm Eastern, the show’s new timeslot. The demise of several leading characters is expected in the weeks to come.
