As previously reported, actress Kate "Underworld" Beckinsale stars in Whiteout for director Dominic "Swordfish" Sena, currently shooting in Montreal and Manitoba. Based on the Greg Rucka/Steve Lieber, ONI Press graphic novels, the story revolves around a lone U.S. marshal 'Carrie Stetko' (Beckinsale) assigned to Antarctica to investigate the continent's first homicide. With only three days until the onset of a 6-month winter, the marshal must solve the crime before Antarctica is plunged into darkness and she becomes stranded with a killer.
