From the Fantastic Four set in downtown Vancouver at Pender and Thurlow October 18th 2004 07:20am | Posted by: Editor-in-Chief HNR photographers ‘Photoboy’ and C Feldman caught up with some Fantastic Four filming in the business district of downtown Vancouver over the weekend and were able to score a few shots of HNR photographers ‘Photoboy’ and C. Feldman caught up with some Fantastic Four filming in the Business District of Downtown Vancouver over the weekend and were able to score a few shots of Michael Chiklis as The Thing in action. The scene involved over 250 background performers including 40+ vehicles, bike couriers, 2 mounted police officers and local jewelry/food vendors in the recreation of a busy street in New Youk City. In the scene, The Thing was entering an office building and talking with someone at the entrance—nothing too exciting but it does give us our first glimpse at his fully transformed look. C. Feldman reports that Chiklis is really hamming it up on set from tackling crew members to hugging extras—he really seems to be enjoying himself…even on occasion operating the clapboard between takes with his gigantic hands.
