May 30th 2009 04:50am | Posted by: Michael Stevens, HNR Senior Editor Kickstart Entertainment, producers of the movie adaptation of the Top Cow comic book series Wanted, have acquired screen rights to the 2008 Image/Shadowline comic book Dear Dracula, created by writer Joshua Williamson and illustrator Vincente Navarrete. who will also write the screenplay for the new CGI film. The upcoming feature will follow 'Sam', a lover of 'scary' movies who writes to 'Dracula' at Halloween, requesting the 'Count' make him a real vampire on that night. Dracula accepts the invitation, taking the boy on an exploration of "what it means to be a vampire".
