October 12th 2009 01:19pm | Posted by: Michael Stevens, HNR Senior Editor The 30 Days Of Night direct-to-DVD, horror movie sequel 30 Days Of Night: Dark Days will lense in Vancouver, October 20 to November 24. Main character 'Stella Olsen' (Melissa George) returns as part of a group of 'vampires' out for revenge, in a new sceenplay written by Steve Niles and Ben Ketai, who also wrote two 30 Days of Night webseries. Ketai will direct Dark Days. The original 30 Days of Night feature, filmed in 2007, adapted the comic book mini-series of the same name, directed by David Slade, starring actors Josh Hartnett, Melissa George and Danny Huston. Premise of that film focused on the Alaskan town of 'Barrow', cursed with vampires, as it enters into a thirty day period without sunshine.
