November 18th 2009 09:59am | Posted by: Michael Stevens, HNR Senior Editor Sneak Peek the HD teaser trailer for director Tim "Batman" Burton's Alice in Wonderland, adapting author Lewis Carroll's classic (public domain) novels "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass". The film, to be released in Disney Digital 3-D and IMAX 3-D, combines live action, motion capture technology and stop motion, starring actress Mia Wasikowska as 'Alice'. Screenwriter Linda Woolverton added a 'socio-political' context to the updated story, as "the goal is to try to make it an engaging movie, " said Burton. "Where you get some of the psychology and kind of bring a freshness but also keep the classic nature of Alice." Sony Pictures Imageworks designed the visual effects sequences. Alice In Wonderland also stars actors Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Stephen Fry, Alan Rickman, Michael Sheen, Matt Lucas and Christopher Lee.
