The film follows Willow who falls in love with 'Jimmy' (Chris Evans), son of an alcoholic father and 'insane' mother. Willow tries to pass Jimmy off as a wealthy suitor to appease her family, including her Aunt (Ann-Margret), who controls their fortune and would feel Jimmy is 'unsuitable' based on his family's background.
