Toronto-filmed Zombie Feature Scares Up $6 Million Domestic B.O.

The Toronto-filmed zombie horror feature Resident Evil: Apocalypse has been named winner of the annual 'Golden Reel Award', presented by government-run Telefilm Canada to the Canadian film with the highest domestic box office.
Resident Evil: Apocalypse grossed more than $6 million during the qualifying period, from October 2003 to October 2004.
The award will be presented to the producers at the 2005 Genie Awards March 21.
Past Golden Reel winners have included Ivan Reitman's Meatballs and Bob Clarke's Porky's.
