Hello All,

I'm new here, but I wanted to share something with you.

Have you seen Jay Tavare in the movie "Unbowed"? Please, please check it out if you haven't already. The movie is based on a true story about a forbidden love affair between a Lakota Indian Warrior Chief and a African American student. It is a beautifully-made movie and is currently being shown on STARZ.

Jay has recently been cast in the role of Chief Prairie Fire in Steven Spielberg's upcoming miniseries "Into the West" which will be filmed partly in Canada.

Also, if you get the opportunity, please visit Jay's official website and his Fan Forum at www.jaytavare.com. I promise, you won't be sorry. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) .

Have a great day!

P.S. If you still don't know who Jay Tavare is, perhaps you may remember him in the role of Vega in Streetfighter. He has also appeared in Executive Decision, Escape to Grizzley Mountain, Adaptation, The Missing and Cold Mountain.

Welcome to the board singlemom. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Jay was one of my favs in The Missing. He is definitely the type of actor that doesn't need a big part to stand out in the acting scene to be noticed.
