The film crew is setting up as I write this to film Marriage at the Marine Building. Not sure who's scenes they will be, but I thought I'd post anyway!

Just got back from the set of MARRIAGE.
Somehow I managed to sneak behinde the scene. Got Pictures with Brosnan and Cooper. Both of them super friendly and gentle guys. Cooper even gave me an autograph. Mac Adams wasn't on set. One of the PA's said she already left VAncouver. Brosnan personaly told me he's leaving tomorrow morning as well as Cooper, who is flying back to Arrizona. THey are hoping that this Film gets a Grammy Award. The shooting was mainly inside the building, but also in front of the Marine Building. Nice old cars and everyone was dressed up like in the 30's. I can only say that I was realy impressed with Brosnan who seems to be the nicest guy ever. He didn't just talk to me like I was some pedestrian the stoped buy, he asked what my name is, where I come from and what I do. He even introduced me to his personal Assistent, a goodlooking girl in her mid 30's. When I left he wished me all the best and said..."Ok, take care man. Nice meeting you." Also the extras were very nice. Was good to have you here in Vancouver Pierce! Wish you all the best and success with this movie! Attached pics.

There are 1949 signs down on Waterfront Road and several beautiful old cars in the holding lot for cruise ship buses. Not sure where they are filming today but did notice parking restrictions around the Europe Hotel in Gastown yesterday afternoon. Would likely make the most sense.

I read on another board that the film is taking about a month hiatus with shooting and they'll be back in late Sept. Has anyone else heard about this? So far they've only shot for about 4 1/2 - 5 weeks so that would make more sense than if they wrapped this early. Especially since the shooting schedule had originaly been reported as July 21-Oct 26. Cooper is shooting another film "The Kingdom" in Arizona and there have been some news reports from Connecticut that Brosnan is supposed to shoot "In Bloom" there.

1949/Marriage signs posted down Seymour street, followed them all the way to Hastings and Abbott and Hastings and Carrall where they were filming a scene using some of the old cars and the only cast member on location was Chris Cooper. Was there with April another HNR poster, she got some pics of the setup as well as some pics of Cooper. Didnt hang around too long as it was getting a dark and not a place where lone females should loiter.

Glad you liked the pics.
No movie is not wraping yet! Heard too, that Brosnan and Cooper are doing other productions as well. Cooper is flying forth and back from Arizona to do another movie, he said. |

I read on HSX that they're resuming filming on Oct 4. The information was posted by someone that got the information from union sources.
