Roof of Metro Parking parkade at 1070 W Pender. Heres some updated pics on the progress on set construction. Don't know if you can see from the pics, but theres actually 2 levels to the roof set. They got the whole ground covered now, 4 foot columns up, windows and blinds up on the building and plants. Just a little over a week ago it was just an empty parking lot, they sure moving fast.

They spent all morning putting up a gazebo, I have no idea how I'm going to get any work done when they start filming, my office overlooks the set. Now if only I had a better zoom on my camera lol

Nice gazebo! hmm... how can the fantasticar land on the rooftop wtih that gazebo there? Is someone getting married?
Thanks for the awesome pics, Seven!!! Yeah, it would be hard to concentrate on work once filming starts...but I'd say that you're extremely lucky to get the front row seat! |

This is all so exciting, Seven. Any chance you can set up a katcam? I hope they won't place a huge green screen blocking your view when they start filming. Thanks for all the pics!

Thought this was kind of interesting...looks like they aren't necessarilly sticking to the original roof design, gaxebo instead of observatory...I know which one I'd prefer.

They've been out there for the last hour doing walk thrus and reherssals. I've just been sitting here with binoculors looking out my window, I've gotten 0 work done today. Jessica Alba and Ioan Gruffud are standing at the top of the isle right now. Jessica is wearing a white coat and jeans and Ioan Gruffud is in a sport jacket, tshirt, jeans and runners, I hope they change before the actual wedding scene lol.

arey you sure that's Jessica Alba wearing white and jeans? i used a pair of binoculars and it didn't look like her. also, she has a pass hanging around her neck. if it was Jessica, i don't think she'd need a pass?
My apologies seven, my co-workers recognized her when I didn’t! she’s a lot darker than I imagined and her hair is blonde, so I guess that’s why I didn’t recognize her! |
