Muse Entertainment has started principal photography on Night and Day, a pilot for TNT of "a series that dynamically combines crime drama, family drama, and coming of age... a blend of action, suspense, humour and heart".
The series is created/written by Emmy award winners Joel "24" Surnow and Todd "White Squall" Robinson, with Muse producing in association with international distributor Tandem Communications.
Actor William "Prison Break" Fichtner stars as 'Federal Agent Dan Hollister' who heads up the 'STI' (Special Threat Investigations): "He walks a tightrope between his dangerous work during the day and his challenges as a husband and father during the night".
Actress Sherry "ER" Stringfield plays his wife 'Elizabeth' who is at a crossroads in her life: "They struggle to hold their home life together and to raise three teenaged kids; a job that has its own perils".
The pilot episode is being helmed by Canadian actor/director Milan "Las Vegas" Cheylov, who also worked with Fichtner on Prison Break and Surnow on 24.
Muse is also noted as an independent feature film/television producer, with recent productions including The Deal, starring Meg Ryan and William H. Macy, TV movie Crusoe, a co-production with Power and Moonlighting for NBC and Rogers, the 26-part TV series Family Biz for YTV and France 2, TV drama series Durham County and TV minis Impact and The Flood.
